Cristo de Betânia Community was born from the Renewal in the Holy Spirit in the 80s. The Community has been welcoming the will of the Lord in order to accomplish her mission within the Catholic Church.

This Community offers an opportunity and means for a life with a deeper evangelic perfection and answer the call of the Church for a New Evangelization.

Our charisma are:

Liturgy: All the Community life is centred on the Eucharist, the Liturgical Hours and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Compassion: We welcome and support all the brothers, specially the poor. We have intercession prayer and special phone call service.

Evangelization: We are collaborating in the project Evangelization 2000; We have an Evangelization School, where the people learn new methods to evangelize using music, media, dramatizations; cells of Youth 2 thousand and Families 2 thousand. We go in Missions to the streets, parishes, etc. We offer means of spiritual grouth: retreats, seminars, week-ends, national meetings…

Commitments within the Community: To become a member of the Community, you just need to be a catholic Christian and to be over 18 years old.

Degrees of Commitments:

Associate: Christians who collaborate according to their charisma and disponibility in the task of evangelization.

Companion: They meet in small group and they share tenth of his salary for evangelization’s works.

Servant: They live in communion with the brothers, and they can consecrated to the Lord in the Community.

Brothers: They are the driving force of the community; they consecrate their lives to the Lord in poverty, obedience and
